Tub in walk in shower — Ann Arbor, MI

Last updated: September 24, 2026

What affects the price

The final price for a walk-in shower depends on the scope of your remodel. Choosing premium materials like high-end tile, custom glass enclosures, or specialized safety features like built-in benches and grab bars will naturally shift your total. Structural changes, such as moving plumbing lines or updating your subfloor, also impact the bottom line compared to a simple swap. Whether you opt for a sleek, minimalist look or a fully accessible spa-style setup, the hardware and labor choices dictate the cost. Your exact pricing confirmed free on the call.

About this service

Installing a tub inside a walk-in shower area, often called a wet room design, allows you to have both options in one open footprint. This layout is perfect for homeowners who want a spacious, spa-like experience without the confinement of a traditional shower stall. If you have the square footage and want the versatility of both a relaxing bath and a quick, accessible shower, this configuration is a great way to maximize your bathroom space.
